Design Bio: Harvey Probber (1922-2003) was a mid-century modernist furniture designer who had a reputation for creating and manufacturing elegant residential furniture for affluent clients and their interior designers. Probber was known for his use of luxury materials, custom woods finishes and quality construction.
Harvey Probber is most remembered for introducing flexible, modular seating and his famous 'sling chair' which is part of MOMA's collection.
